Giuliano da Sangallo was a Renaissance architect who worked on the design for St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.     He was over shadowed by Michangelo and Bramante.

These immigration documents list my  parents and grandparents  on their arrival to Ellis Island in the 1930's.

My happy place: Mackinac Island on the Great Lakes. Around  the other side of the point is Lake Michigan.

Too many lizards in my yard!  I name them all Larry.

But only at dinner.  Even as a kid we were allowed two sips of wine with our pasta.  Never white wine, only red.  For dessert we could have a tiny piece of chocolate.

Every morning the humorous geese on Mackinac Island wait patiently for the laid-back visitors to arrive.

The subject of my detour into oil painting is of a bluejay that visits our garden.  He always brings hungry buddies.
